Caixa Cultural, as usual, brings another great exhibition: VRUM, a spectacle from the group DMV22 from São Paulo. The presentation brings together three languages of expression - music, digital painting and dance - to convey the feeling of rush and chaos, typical of the metropolis. The show had also been adapted for children - 'VRUMVRUMZINHO' - who are invited to create and draw their own conclusions from the stories told. The children's version will be presented on the same day at 15h.
From the technique of digital graffiti, the stage presents colors and shapes that partner exquisitely with the music and the choreography. The digital painting offers images that will take viewers on a journey. The loudness sometimes illustrates, sometimes opposes, aiming to arouse curiosity. The movement builds objects and forms figures within the dance space.
The group DMV22 was formed in 2010 by artists Achiles Luciano, Mario Lopes and Gabriel Spinosa who have been adding artists since for their joint processes to create multimedia shows. The projects VRUM and VRUMVRUMZINHO have participated of the Circuit SESC of Arts 2011 in 20 cities of São Paulo, the 2011 Winter Festival SESC Araraquara, the Children's Marathon Museum of Image and Sound 2011/2012, the opening of the Festival and Video dance SESC São Carlos in 2012, the SESC Pompéia, among other events.
In 2013, the artists received an award from the Department of Culture of Munich (Germany), which included conducting a three-month residency for research and a circulation of performances around Europe in Munich, Feldafing, Vienna and Lyon.
