Peace One Day, an NGO from London, will hold an unforgettable worldwide event. On September 21st, in cities across the world, several soccer tournaments will occur, with the main purpose to celebrate the World Day of Peace.

In Rio de Janeiro, the Complexo do Alemão community was chosen to host the event and its residents along with the agency NBS RIO + RIO are organisers. With the support of companies who believe in the project, among them Coca-Cola and Nike, besides the tournament, the event brings various activities for the kids of the community, starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm.

Eight teams from the community, with children aged between 11 and 13 years, will participate in the competition. The matches will be played with five players (one goalkeeper) and four reserves, each team will have nine athletes all in all. The competition will be in the knockout model. There will be two halves of 10 minutes and in the final, 15 minutes each team.

We, The AfterDark Network team, invite you to join us on this day to celebrate Peace. There is no entrance fee, just bring good energy and cheer the kids on.
