A MOBO Award winner and R&B crooner, Jai Amore is stiring up the R&B scene with his sound.
After a strong summer of TV appearances and live showcases throughout 2013, Jai Amore found the time to create an album of brand new music and given his previous successful releases across the globe in Ghana and Japan, that led to tours throughout the UK, Europe and Africa, this is a treat his followers and fans are eager to embrace.
The single Scared of the Dark captivates with its catchy lyrics and accompanied by its dark, concept video, remains focused to its name, written about phobias, fears, and in true Jai Amore style, love.
Written and arranged by Jai Amore himself, and produced by London producer Sasha Farhadian, Scared of the Dark dances around the ideas of clubbing and phobias simultaneously. The quirky mixture of drinking and going "bump in the night" fills this track with intrigue. And the choir-like vocal arrangement that Jai Amore is well known for, makes for a catchy hook.
"It's good to see a UK RnB singer with something that stands out from the pack. This is a strong single that I'm sure will place Jai Amore at the level where he belongs." Shae Agha (Jessie J, Amplify Dot, Ed Sheeran)

18-year-old singer songwriter Ellapaige has been waiting in the wings of pop since she was four years old, patiently anticipating that moment when the time would be right to take her position in the spotlight. In the summer of 2013, that moment finally arrived.
Ellapaige was brought up in a musical environment, but her family also knew enough about the makings of a true talent that they insisted she found her own route, and scored her own breaks. Ellapaige wouldn’t have it any other way: “You’ve got to find your own path and find your own people,” she says, and she found a way to do just that.
Though she’s honest and direct in her songwriting, in an era when oversharing is the order of the day it’s refreshing that with Ellapaige there’s plenty more than initially meets the eye. The magic of her songwriting seems to lie in her talent for striking the right balance between being personal and accessible. As such her music, intimate though her lyrics often are, has the potential to resonate with many. “It’s amazing with everything going on in the world, you can connect people though music,” she says. “It’s a language of its own.” That’s a language in which Ellapaige has already proved herself fluent, and it’s a language she’ll be using to tell stories about her own life and the way she sees the world around her for many years to come.

Lawrence Sean Sibanda, also known as Dragg, or Sean S, is a upcoming hip pop/rap artist and singer based in Kingston Upon Hull UK since 2006. He was born on October 26th 1993 in Zimbabwe. While still in his home town, he had a serious illness which was mistaken for malaria due to the symptoms being similar at the early stages. The wrong medication was prescribed to him for 2 months, and when the doctors discovered he had meningitis, it was too late. This resulted in the complete loss of his vision and partial hearing loss in his left ear.
Dragg, has been rapping since the age of 12 and was majorly influenced by West Coast rapper, The Game, although his lyrical content is majorly influenced by Cassidy, Fabulous, Canibus and Jay Z.
In September 2009 Dragg was invited to join Project Feenix for a performance on The Sesh Stage at Freedom Festival in Hull. It was Dragg’s first performance in front of thousands of people, and helped him develop his vocal projection and confidence. He has also made appearances on local BBC Radio Humberside and BBC Look North TV.
The first interview on BBC Radio Humberside was with Sarah Burton and was broadcasted twice on Andy Comfort’s breakfast show. Alan Raw also invited Dragg into BBC Radio Humberside on 2 occasions in 2011, where he performed live in the studio on the Raw Talent Show.
On the live stage Dragg has supported U.S.A hip hop duet Chiddy Bang at the Johnny McCarthy Bar Hull University on their UK tour in 2010, and also opened for RnB/Pop group JLS at Pozition Night Club in Hull at the tail end of 2012.
In 2012 Dragg released his first mix tape titled 'The Warm Up Vol 1', featuring the likes of Franchise Beats (Wiz Khalifa, Freeway), Amandi Music, Young Millyz (Red Café, Masspike Miles, Killa Mike) and Ekko aka Young Ancient (UMAS Best Male Rapper 2012).
Born and raised in Bermuda and briefly Northampton England, and a rich cultural background that includes African, European and East Asian, Devaune was exposed to so many different genres of music. However, like anyone growing up, He was more influenced by the music his parents listened to most, people like Michael & Janet Jackson, Gloria Estefan, Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross.
"My first taste of 'The Bug' came when I was four years old and my parents entered me into a talent show. I sang 'Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)' and got a standing ovation. I’ve been on stage ever since, from school plays to violin recitals."
Devaune also began to work professionally as a child model, appearing in Print and Television advertisements for local Department Stores. The first time He auditioned for a theatrical production outside of a school environment he was 17 and landed a lead, with mention from the Director to reporters in interviews "Devaune sings like a dream."
"I loved to perform so much that in a summer job as a Hotel Camp Counselor, I was spotted by visiting performers from Las Vegas who caught me singing to the children in the camp. From there I had the opportunity to study Performance and Dance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas." There, Devaune perfected his skills further, performing in productions like 'Annie' starring 'All in the Family' star Sally Struthers as Ms. Hanigan. In a review by Backstage.com for a short play entitled 'Brother's Keeper' Devaune was described as "riveting” and "a bullet of a talent". He also danced briefly in California with the Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers.
On top of all of this, writing songs has always been a constant. "The first song I wrote, I composed with my violin. However, singing and playing the violin at the same time was a massive fail. Every song I finish is a song, I can’t wait to perform. The stage is where I feel at home. I know that sounds cheesy but its the truth. The prospect of sharing my music will never cease to excite me."
Ben Newbury is a singer/songwriter who lives for music, 'a world without music would be a pretty awful world to live in'. With vast musical influences including the likes of solo artists such as Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, Pete Doherty running through to some of the most well known bands in musical history including The Beatles, The Smiths, The Libertines, The Enemy, The Rifles, just to name a few. Having such an eclectic taste certainly reflects within his music from the use of the picked 12 string acoustic guitar down to the rhythms and melodies of the electric guitar and piano. Having fallen in love with music and singing from an early age he later picked up his first guitar at the age of 15 and decided he was going to teach himself, and has never looked back since.
Having a BA HONS degree in the arts has helped him grow as a performer and a writer; his lyrics are seemingly poetic and truthful being influenced by love, life and the simplest dreams, day dreams, thoughts or actions. He takes us on a journey within the story of his own life 'beyond the land where wildest dreams are free' as seen in the songs 'A song for you' and you and I'.
